What are facial fillers?

Facial fillers are synthetic or naturally occurring substances known as dermal fillers that temporarily make a person's face appear rested, rejuvenated, and younger.

These injections can plump thinning lips, lift eyebrows, enhance cheekbones, erase under-eye circles, and smooth smile lines.

Types of facial fillers

HYALURONIC ACID (RESTYLANE, JUVEDERM, OTHERS):

This natural component of the skin's connective tissue is the most common filler used for wrinkles. Results usually last 6 to 12 months.

CALCIUM HYDROXYLAPATITE (RADESSE):

This filler is used to contour the jawline, restore volume in the cheeks, and treat deeper wrinkles and skin folds. Results last up to a year for contouring and three years to fill wrinkles.

FAT GRAFTING

Liposuction removes fat from the lower abdomen or other areas. It is then injected into the cheeks, temples, lips, or forehead through small incisions. The effects can be permanent. But achieving the desired results often requires more than one session and overtraining at the site because the body will reabsorb some of the fat.Unlike dentures, all-on-four dental implants are comfortable and secure. They don’t require adhesives and don’t rely on gum suction to stay in place. You can safely enjoy all the foods you love and smile and laugh without worrying about your dentures coming out of place.

Facial Botox

Botox is one of the most effective treatment options for reducing facial muscle contractions and wrinkles. To begin with, we will first evaluate facial muscle activity in the treatment areas. We will complete the treatment with a micro-needle within 15-20 minutes. About three to five days after treatment, you'll notice results lasting up to four to six months. Therefore, we recommend that patients receive Botox injections every 4 to 6 months for optimal, long-term effects, depending on their skin condition.

Facial Bio- Prf (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) For Facial Rejuvenation

At Universal Dental Art & Science, we have created a 100% natural skin care treatment that has been proven to be more effective than other leading skin care regimens.

We now offer Bio-PRF patient treatments using the Dermapen device. Before and after skincare with scientifically backed ČUVGET products that provide a comprehensive treatment for effective skin rejuvenation, Langerhans cell activation, and inflammation reduction.

PRF injections and micro-needling infuse facial tissues and hair follicles with regenerative growth factors and cells that help stimulate, repair, and rejuvenate damaged areas of the body.

Since no additives are used, it forms a "super" clot with significantly increased concentrations of regenerative cells and growth factors capable of stimulating the healing process. The PRF method accumulates 6-8 times more platelets and white blood cells than whole blood. These cells then release more growth factors and promote rapid wound healing, resulting in a low recovery time.

PRF face injection

Platelet-rich fibrin can be injected instead of fillers to treat facial wrinkles and folds and contour the face. We can inject PRF-like dermal fillers into the following:

  • Cheeks
  • Chin
  • Jaw
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Temporary hollow
  • Under the eyes

… and more.

Once injected, it creates a scaffold underneath the skin, filling the area and stimulating natural tissue regeneration, such as collagen and elastin growth.

Who is a good candidate for Platelet-Rich Fibrin?

Anyone who wants to rejuvenate their skin naturally is likely a good candidate for a platelet-rich fibrin treatment. However, some people with bleeding disorders or who are taking blood thinners should avoid these procedures. During a consultation, we will discuss your health history to determine if PRF is right for you.

What should I expect during treatment?

After the blood is drawn, we extract the PRF using a centrifuge, which spins the vial of blood, separating the PRF from the heavier cells and allowing it to be removed and prepared for use. This substance will be applied topically during the treatment using a needle roller or into a syringe for injection. We will ensure your skin is comfortably numbed by using a local anesthetic. Ice can also be used to ensure comfort during your procedure. Once completed, we will review the following care guidelines for the best results and schedule follow-up appointments.

How often do I need to be treated?

It depends on the application of platelet-rich fibrin and your individual needs. For best results, topical PRF with micro-needling is performed in a series of treatments followed by conventional treatments to maintain results. With injections, it depends on the treatment area. We will discuss the results and expectations during your consultation.
